This charger's build quality is excellent, and I have already been through a power outage in which it was briefly used. It is a very solid charger and is not light weight, but that is not what it is intended to be. This puppy feels built to survive almost anything. Had a problem with my order but the vendor's customer service was first class. Highly recommended.

My husband was having to leave his cell phone in his truck to charge it when he went on long hunting trips. This has helped so much! He leaves it at camp while he's out hunting and then charges his phone overnight. I'll be buying a few more to go in our emergency kits for our upcoming camping trip.

The power button that you need to press and hold down is a little tough to press down to use. I sometimes have to press down on it for a while or try several times to get the lighter to work properly. I would perhaps suggest having 2 rings on the charger so I can harness it with two straps instead of one. It makes it more balanced and also makes it safer to travel with. Other than that, its great for what I need it for. It comes with a hook and a Micro USB to USB adapter to charging and recharging, although you will need your own cable if your phone doesn't charge up with a micro-usb port.
